History: Rescue Eight Paramedic Service, Inc. was established in 2003 and has about 30 years of combined leadership experience in the ambulance industry. We currently own and operate 16 vehicles providing emergency and non emergency service 24 hours a day 365 days a year. With locations in Algonquin/Lake in the Hills & Arlington Heights, We service approximately 50 nursing homes along with 10 hospitals in the Northwest suburbs and the surrounding Chicago land area. We are proud to provide Emergency service for Arlington International Race Course during their racing season. We have several on-going special events which include Soccer, Football, Martial Arts, and several craft shows throughout the year. Disaster Response Team: Rescue Eight is commited to helping during disaster relief efforts around the country. We have provided Advanced Life Support and Basic Life Support services to the following hurricanes Katrina, Rita, Gustav, and Ike.   
  
Equipment: Rescue Eight uses the Zoll M series Monitor/Defibrillator able to monitor a patients Heart Rate/Rhythm, SPO2 (oxygen levels), and Blood Pressure. This monitor performs a 12 lead ECG in the field when seconds count for that time sensitive cardiac patient. Every ambulance uses the MX Pro Stryker cot (up to 650lbs) and for our Bariatric patients we have the MX Pro Bariatric cot (up to 1600lbs) for saftey and comfort.
